Grilled Miso Pork

One of the easiest dishes to make if you’re feeling lazy after work is a spicy miso pork. I use a pork butt which you can easily get from a supermarket. NTUC sells pretty decent cuts.

Ingredients
250-300g pork butt/shoulder
2 tbsp miso paste
2 tbsp cooking sake
3 tbsp mirin
1.5 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp sesame oil
Freshly cracked black pepper
Chilli flakes 


Directions

Step 1

Marinate pork butt for 30-60 minutes

Step 2
Pre heat oven to 250c
Grill for 30 minutes

Serve with rice

Note: remember to let it rest for 15 minutes but if you can’t wait, fuck it..: just cut into it and slather the sliced pork with the juices… that’s fine too!
